Starting the New Year With A Bang!!

Here we are half way through the year and I am 6 months pregnant!!! In January me and my amiga Amy decided to  go on our lunch and buy a pregnancy test. I remember like it was yesterday...it was on a Thursday and we had plans to go out to dinner on Friday. Me being that I can't go anywhere without getting a margarita. I thought to myself and out loud with Amy..uummm maybe I should take test just in case. So on our lunch we went to Target bought a test,  went to eat at subway then went back to work, and into the restroom we went.  A minute later......

I was in totally shock...well not really totally shock cause we knew it was coming we just weren't sure when. After all the jumping and excitement in the restroom with Amy.  I went and gave the news to Sam...his reaction was priceless :) At first he was shocked and just stood there, then tears came to his eyes and said I can't believe I am going to be a dad.

This was the first time we saw our little peanut. It was February 27th and I was 8 weeks and 4 days. We were able to hear the heartbeat and see it. I cried like a baby, its crazy to see something that is growing inside you but can't feel it.

On May 23rd we found out we were having a little girl :) Sam really wanted a girl,  so he got his wish...she is going to be such a daddy's girl. Our little princess Analina Itzel Gonzalez!! We are so excited and can't wait to meet her. I am so curious to see who will she look like...hopefully she will have my good looks but her daddy's personality..lol.

Christmas and New Years

It is crazy how fast December came and went...since it was a little hectic with the holidays  I did not have a chance to make any post. So I am combining Christmas and New Years together and a few weeks late. 2011 was a great year full of new experiences for the both of us. We got to meet each others grandmothers in Mexico along with other family in May. In September we were spontaneous, and took a adventure and drove up to Gold Beach, Oregon.  In November we took a cruise to places never in our dreams we would have imagined visiting. We are looking forward to seeing what 2012 will bring. Whether it is more traveling, new adventures, moving, or having Maximiliano Cuauhtemoc..lol..we will make the best of it :)

We spent our New Years with my family in Tracy. My mom made posole and a few aunts and uncles came over. It was a mellow new years for us, which we enjoyed very much :)

Christmas

So I didn't get to take much pictures because it was kind of busy. Here are a few that I did take though. We spent Christmas with his Sam's family...Sam has three brothers and four sisters. Which six of the seven are married and with kids, so even family gatherings are big. On Christmas we played games and prizes were given to the winners. There is no pictures of the girls playing because my husband was so excited he was yelling and jumping up and down that he did not take any pictures. I did win one game, I was the fastest and neatest gift wrapper. So here are some pics from the boys playing...

This was the marshmallow game...they had 15 marshmallows and they had one minute to stuff as many as they could fit in their mouths. It was hilarious and disgusting all at the same time. When they were spitting them out I could not stop gaging..yuk!!

This was the hot dog game..each pan had twelve hot dogs and they had five minutes to eat as many hot dogs as they could. It was so funny they were soaking the hot dogs in soda or pouring soda on them to make them soggy..I take it back not funny...more like gross..lol

Christmas Dinner 2011 With The Best Of Friends

Every year me and my best friends along with our husbands get together for a Christmas dinner a week before the actual day.  It is crazy how fast time passes, I practically grew up with these girls. They are like family and the fact that we still are very close with each other is great. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends in my life.

On The Carnival Valor

The cruise line that we cruised on was Carnival, the ship was the Valor ;) The ship was enormous it had 11 floors, a spa, gym, three pools, a huge screen tv on the deck, two formal dining rooms, three lunch rooms, two theaters and so much more that I can't recall.  It was fascinating seeing everything on the ship being that neither of us had ever been on one.

We got on the ship about 12:30 and  were not allowed to our room until 1:30..so I got a drink and Sam bought a bucket that he carried everywhere after that

It took me a minute to adjust to the moving ship especially when looking out the window but then I got over it...and I loved so everyday when we ate breakfast or lunch we sat next to a window :)

Sam ordered a steak medium rare but this is what he got...morel like rare.  I think they just put in in the microwave for one minute and said done..lol. He ate the whole thing and did not get sick :/

An Elephant

They cleaned our room twice a day..ounce in the morning and then at night. Every night they made animals with the towels. So every night coming back to the room after we would be out and about..I would be excited to get in the room to see what they had made :)
